Popis územia
The site is represented by the linear alder habitat connected to the environment along the watercourse in the Hradná dolina valley in the eastern part of the Považský Inovec mountain range. The remnants of the mesophilous meadows mowed in the past and abandoned in present are located along the watercourse.
From the geomorphological point of view, it is a valley with the floodplain.
Ciele ochrany
The aim of protection is to preserve the alder vegetation and willow-poplar stands along the brook in Hradná dolina Valley.
Quality and importance:
The site is significant for the preservation of the habitat Ls 1.1 - Mixed ash-alder alluvial forests of temperate and Boreal Europe
Zraniteľnosť
The eastern part of the site stretches into the proposed recreational area. If the construction is undertaken, recreational activities likely cause a stronger impact to the proposed area. Change of the wood composition using the non-native tree species by regeneration of the forests can cause a change of the existing character of the site.
