Popis územia
The site is situated inVeľkopoľská brázda on the eastern edge of the Tríbeč mountain. There can be found primarily meadow communities with randomly spread deciduous beech forests. The area has the character of hill topography, geological substrate consists of limestone and dolomite with the kremlin in the southern part of the territory, where it creates rock walls and steps.
Ciele ochrany
The site which is part of the protected landscape area Ponitrie and interferes with Sokolec nature reserve with a strong rocky character characterize prevailing well-preserved hay meadows that have a continuous potential long-term conservation management.
Zraniteľnosť
Prevailing grassland habitats can be threatened with collapse of the existing management with subsequent onset of succession. Existing forest communities are low-risk or vulnerable to excessive extraction of mismanagement.
